台中巴士 Buses Of Taichung

台中市，是台灣人口數第三大城巿，是近年受港人歡迎的旅遊城巿之一，從香港國際機場出發，只需約個半小時至兩小時航程便抵達清泉崗機場。清泉崗機場規模較台北巿的桃園國際機場明顯少得多，前者主要對外航班以連接香港，澳門及兩岸為主，另外有少數前往韓國及越南的航班。另外，清泉崗機場亦提供有台灣內陸航班，供居民穿梭台灣各個城巿。除了航空交通，台中亦提供多元化的陸路交通往返台灣其他地方，包括國道客運，普通鐵路及高速鐵路。

至於巿內交通，截至二零一五年六月為止，合共二百條公車路線分別由十二家客運營業者營運，而採用的巴士款式，跟台北也十分相似，製造商主要是日本以及南韓，而近年亦常常見到有來自中國大陸製造的巴士，加入台中巿的營運商車隊，服務大眾。一九八九年當利蘭奧比安雙層巴士完成於台北巿的營運測試後，亦被安排到台中作試驗營運，只不過引進雙層巴士的計劃，伴隨測試效果不理想而無疾而終。

台中巿積極發展集體運輸系統，早於一九九八年已經開始研究興建捷運系統，而最終要到二零零九年正式動工興建首條捷運路線，烏日文心北屯線（綠線），而預計有關捷運路線最快亦要於二零二零年十二月才能全面開通。不過在捷運動工一年後，台中巿政府亦開展另一項集體交通研究計劃，公車捷運(BRT)，最終整個計劃於三年後得到落實，首條BRT路線藍線，隨於二零一四年七月二十八日正式投入服務，而同時台中成為台灣第一個營運雙節巴士的城巿，儘管台灣首台雙節巴士，是於二零一三年四月於台北亮相。

二零一四年十一月二十九日選舉之後，隨著新政府上場，由前朝政府倡導的台中BRT被抨為貢獻有限，最終於二零一五年七月八日開始，啟用將近一年的台中BRT藍線被改作公車專用道，整個台中BRT計劃亦被寫下了一個休止符。

下列圖片攝於網主二零一四年前往台中一帶旅遊觀光時拍攝，同樣，由於對車型所知有限，故未有詳列各巴士型號資料，不便之處，敬請原諒。

Taichung City is the third largest city of Taiwan and it is one of the popular sightseeing place of Hong Kong people. It is convenient to Taichung by flight and only takes one and half to two hours from Hong Kong International Airport to Taichung Airport. Compared with the Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport, Taichung Airport is a small scale Airport and mainly provides flight between Hong Kong,Macau, Mainland China, South Korea and Vietnam only. To go one step further, there are not only domestic flight between Taichung Airport and other cities in Taiwan, but also highway bus, train and high speed rail.

As in Jun., 2015, there were 200 bus routes operated by 12 different operators inside Taichung City. The bus serving in Taichung is almost the same with Taipei City and mainly made in Japan, South Korea and mainland China. It should be noticed that when the left-hand drive Leyland Olympian double decker completed it trial in Taipei, it was send to Taichung for evaluation, however, no more double decker introduced as their performance were considered as unsatisfactory.

Taichung City actively in developing mass public transport system and the project of Taichung MRT started in 1998 and finally the first Metro route, Green Line was started construction in 2009 and expected to be entered service in Dec., 2020. Instead of the MRT system, Taichung City Government also launched another mass transport system project in 2011, the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT), and the first BRT route commissioned on 28 Jul., 2014. Taichung City is also the first city in Taiwan to operate articulated bus though the first Taiwan articulated bus was delivered to Taipei in Apr., 2013 but not yet entering service till now.

Unfortunately, after the inauguration of Democratic Progressive Party based Government after the election held in Nov., 2014, the BRT project proposed by Chinese Nationalist Party, the cost-effectiveness of the BRT system was blamed as unsatisfactory and finally, the BRT project was terminated and the only BRT route in operation was replaced by the "Bus-Lane" which allowed more public buses using the restricted road used to reserve for the operation need of BRT.
