維澳蓮運在二零一零年八月成功奪得澳門巴士經營權後，首要工作是要在一年內採購營運所需的二百多輛巴士，而在籌備階段時，兩輛鬆上維澳蓮運色彩的青年客車，包括一架長十點五米的JNP6105GR大型低地台巴士，出現於青年金華車廠，令很多人認為青年將是維澳蓮運的主力車款。二零一一年四月，維澳蓮運接收首架新車，然而這不是青年產品，而是同樣來自國內鄭洲的宇通車廠製作的ZK6770HG小型巴士，縱使有人推測維澳蓮運車隊將由宇通及青年產品所組成，但最終結果是，維澳蓮運車隊全數由宇通車廠提供，而當中的大型巴士正是本文主角ZK6118HGE。

宇通ZK6118HGE長度足有十點五米，除了是車隊中最大型的巴士，更是唯一一款可接載輪椅乘客的車款，共有八十七架，全車可載客六十八人，當中四十人是企位。而在動力來源方面，這批宇通大型低地台巴士配用國產的玉柴引擎，而傳動系統則是福伊特出品。至於車上的空調系統，跟其他澳門新巴士一樣，由主引擎驅動。

全數宇通ZK6118HGE成為維澳蓮運主幹線的主力，被派往行走1，3，10，30，MT1及MT2，充份運用其高載客量特點，但畢竟由於只有十點五米長，對比其他澳門巴士公司擁有更大容量的巴士，面對這些路線龐大客量有時難免力有不逮，這情況尤其適用於，往返港澳碼頭的3號路線。值得一提是3002是維澳蓮運首架披上全車身廣告的巴士，其以法國國旗為藍本的色彩，讓人一望就知道其母公司是一家法國企業。無論如何，這批宇通低地台巴士的的確確在澳門公共交通歷史上，作出了一定貢獻。

The most important job of Reolian after won the franchised of providing bus service in Macau in Aug., 2010, was acquiring more than 200 new buses for the operation before Aug., 2011. A press release revealed a pair of YoungMan with Reolian livery at the plant of YoungMan in Jinhua, and most interested parties believed that, Reolian fleet would base on YoungMan. However, the Reolian fleet is composed of Yutong with three different length. The first to be arrived was Yutong ZK6770HG minibus and delivered to Reolian in Apr., 2011. For the full-sized single decker, Reolian chose Yutong ZK6118HGE.

Yutong ZK6118HGE is a 10.5m full-sized single decker, not only the longest model in the fleet but also the only wheelchair accessible bus in Reolian. The capacity of ZK6118HGE is 28 seats plus 40 standees. All 87 Yutong ZK6118HGEs are shared same specification, powered by Yuchai engine and Voith transmission unit, powerful enough to drive the roof-mounted air conditioning unit.

Reolian deployed all Yutong ZK6118HGE on trunk routes like 1, 3, 10, 30, MT1 and MT2 with their high carrying capacity. However, they still cannot fulfill the high demand of those routes mentioned before especially for route 3 as they are only 10.5m long, a little bit shorter than the bus of the previous operator deployed. Fleet no. 3002 is the first to carry an all-over advertisement in the Reolian fleet. This advertisement can let the public know the parent company of Reolian is a French enterprise with the background colour similar to the National flag of France. It is no doubt that Yutong ZK6118HGE contributed a lot in the history of the Macau public trasnport.
