猛獅 13.230 MAN 13.230

在一九九五年引進丹尼士飛鏢後,新福利除了繼續引進三菱小型巴士外,亦開始向其他歐洲廠家購買新巴士,德國猛獅便是繼飛鏢後第二款成功打進新福利車隊的歐洲品牌。一九九七年,新福利向猛獅訂購十架13.230新車,除了是車隊首款德國品牌,更是全澳首款低地台巴士。

全數猛獅巴士配用原廠引擎,符合歐二排放標準,波箱是ZF出品,是當時澳門最環保的巴士車型。空調系統是這十架猛獅13.230必要的設備,同樣由德國超卓提供,並且由主引擎驅動,而全密封車體則採用了西班牙 Hispano Carrocera出品,值得一提有關 Hispano Carrocera 產品除了見於這批澳門猛獅,亦見於香港愉景灣及新加坡SMRT的平治O405。 當十架猛獅新車抵澳投入服務後,新福利便安排行走主幹路線3行走。在服務澳門居民六年多後,新福利便把密封式車窗替換成頂部設透氣小窗的車窗,以確保巴士於關上空調系統後車廂空氣流通。

隨著引進亞歷山大丹尼士飛鏢低地台巴士,這批猛獅便從3號線退下來,改為行走1A路線。另外,當試用電子路線牌成功之後,新福利未有遺忘這十架猛獅,把原有的路線牌布換上電子路線牌箱。雖然這批猛獅13.230作為全澳門首批低地台巴士,可惜由於受困於高故障率,故此曾在二零零六年停駛,以便猛獅技術人員對有關電子控制系統作出替換及修正。在二零一一年八月,由於澳門實施全新巴士營運模式,這批猛獅巴士最終因為未能符合歐三排放標準,加上已經有十四年車齡,而退出澳門公共巴士服務行列。

Instead of continuing to purchase more Mitsubishi Rosa, Transmac started to acquire new buses from different European bus manufacturers after the success made by Dennis Dart in 1995. MAN was successfully to supply new full-sized single decker to Transmac in 1997 with their 13.230 super low floor bus.

MAN 13.230 is the first super low floor bus serving Macau. All of them are powered by a Euro 2 MAN engine with ZF gearbox and the German made Sutrak air conditioning is driven by the main engine. Their bodyworks were completed in Hispano Carrocera plant, a Spain bodybuilder and their product can be seen on Mercedes Benz O405 served with Discovery Bay Transit of Hong Kong and SMRT of Singapore. The Man 13.230 is the most environmentally friendly bus when they commissioned on Transmac trunk route 3. In 2003, the sealed window on MAN 13.230 was replaced by window with an opening at the top to ensure good ventilation when the air conditioning unit switched off.

Transmac replaced the MAN on route 3 with the Alexander Dennis Dart SLF and deployed them on another trunk route 1A. The traditional cloth route display on MAN 13.230 was replaced by an electronic display after the successful trial on Dennis Dart. It is not a pleasure experience of Transmac with this batch of MAN as their low reliability, this resulted in their grounding in 2006 for the MAN technician to replace and amend the electronic control unit. Though MAN 13.230 is a super low floor bus, they cannot meet the emission requirement and already 14 years old, they started to phase out in Mar., 2011 and the last one was withdrawn in Jul, one month before the implemented of new bus operation mode.
