華廈神龍LS-130-116 GDEV LS-130-116

在香港特區政府透過環境保護處，向本港多間巴士營運商給予資助，用作購買新能源車輛並投放於不同路線作試驗營運。當中新創建交通服務有限公司，獲資助購買十架電動巴士及其相關設施。經過招標程序後，除了比亞迪奪得當中五架電動巴士訂單外，同樣來自中國的華廈神龍亦取得餘下新車訂單。在新車到港時間方面，華廈神龍稍為落後於對手比亞迪，首架新車於二零一五年十月於北京中國節能與新能源汽車成果展亮相，並隨後於十二月尾運抵本港。
華廈神龍早於二零一零年藉著創新科技嘉年華，向香港市民展示旗下的電動巴士產品，當中包括一架雙層巴士。隨後於二零一三年，中電向華廈神龍購入一架電動旅遊客車，作為接載員工及參觀人士之用，而到二零一四年年中，華廈神龍更向愉景灣交通服務有限公司交付兩架長十米，型號LS-150-105的電動巴士，並投入於區內穿梭巴士路線服務居民。這趟華廈神龍向新創建供應的五架新車，型號為LS-130-116，合共可以運載三十五名座位乘客及二十九名企位乘客，至於車身長度亦跟愉景灣的有所分別，接近十一點六米車身，足夠應付港島區尤其半山區路窄多彎的環境。值得一提是，華廈神龍強調這批電動巴士設有波箱，以其在斜路環境有更佳表現。
新創建同樣將三架神龍電動巴士編配予城巴作試驗，車隊編號為1584 - 1586。在接受出牌前的檢驗程序後，三架神龍電動巴士先後於二零一六年五月底至六月初登記出牌，隨後用作車長訓練及測試，並計劃於九月十二日安排到先前測試比亞迪電動巴士的路線上，作載客及對照測試。可惜在原定投入服務當天，城巴發現巴士仍然有技術問題有待解決，故決定延遲巴士投入服務日期，最終城巴於二零一七年六月二日，安排三架神龍電動巴士於11，12及25A路線展開載客營運測試。
Different bus operators was sponsored to acquire alternative powered buses for trial run through the Pilot Green Transport Fund offered by the HKSAR Government. NWS Transport was subsidized to purchase 10 electric single deckers and related facilities and finally both Chinese manufacturers, BYD and GDEV successfully awarded the tender with supplying 5 electric buses respectively. The delivery of GDEV electric bus was later than the BYD with one of the batch as exhibit in 2015 IEEV China in Oct., 2015 and arrived Hong Kong in end of Dec., 2015.
The GDEV electric bus was not new to Hong Kong as it was first shown to public in InnoCarnival 2010 with a pair of single decker and a double decker built for the use in Shandong, China, the base of GDEV. China Light & Power Limited then introduced a GDEV electric coach for staff shuttle purpose and in 2014, a pair of LS-150-105 electric midibus joined the fleet of DBTSL and serving residents within the community. To suit the operation environment, the model of GDEV acquired by NWS Transport is LS-130-116 and 11.55m in length with total 64 passengers can be carried. One of the most noticeable features of the GDEV LS-130-116 is a gearbox was fitted and to achieve a better climbing performance.
Total 3 GDEV electric bus joined City Bus and allocated with fleet number 1584 - 1586 and registered between the end of May and early of Jun., 2016. They were used on driver training before starting their revenue testing proposed on 12 Sep., 2016 along with the BYD K9R. Unfortunately due to technical problem, the commissioned date of the GDEV electric bus was delayed and finally made their maiden trip on route 11, 12 and 25A respectively on 2 Jun., 2017
