五洲龍FDG6101CNG Wuzhoulong FDG6101CNG

為配合二零一一年八月生效的巴士營運新模式,澳巴大舉投資引進五洲龍製造的新車,除了購入五十五架八米長小型巴士FDG6751G及八架大型低地台巴士FDG6101G外,亦同時訂購二十架FDG6101CNG天然氣巴士。從外觀上,這批FDG6101CNG跟FDG6101G是一樣,只是車頂尾部增加了天氣儲存裝置,而載客量方面,天然氣版的FDG6101CNG同樣可以運載六十人(二十七個座位及三十三個企位)。

雖然新車早二零一一年八月前完成,但由於澳門天然氣供應未能配合,導致首架新車延至翌年九月才付運澳門。隨著燃料供應問題得到解決,餘下新車亦相繼於二零一三年一月運抵澳巴車廠,經過一番調整工作及測試,首台五洲龍FDG6101CNG已經於二月領取行車牌照後投入MT3路線服務乘客,其他新車亦於三月尾被安排於MT3行走。

另外這批天然氣驅動的五洲龍巴士,用作修飾貯存天然氣氣缸的組件,在交付予澳門前亦曾作出修改,而有指澳巴本想將天然氣版五洲龍派往行走22號路線,但由於22號線沿途的招牌高度,對車頂的天然氣瓶構成潛在威脅,所以最後澳巴擱置有關計劃。

TCM acquired not only it first batch but also the first 20 CNG-powered buses in Macau in 2011 for it operation under the new bus operation mode effective from 1 Aug., 2011. The model is FDG6101CNG from Wuzhoulong and their appearance are resemblance to the diesel version FDG6101G unless there is a CNG tank located at the top rear part. The carrying capacity of FDG6101CNG also same as FDG6101G, 27 seats with 33 standees.

As a result of the problem about the supplying of CNG in Macau, TCM received it first FDG6101CNG in Sep., 2012 though they were actually completed before Aug., 2011. Finally all the CNG-powered Wuzhoulong arrived at the depot in Jan., 2013 and first one was entered service on 3 Feb., 2013. The following new buses were then commissioned in the end of Mar., 2013 and mainly served route MT3.

There is a rumor that TCM initially planned deployed the CNG-powered bus on route 22, however, the low-height signboards are the potential hazards with the roof mounted CNG tank, MT3 become the home for this batch of Wuzhoulong finally.
