繼購入四十五架十二米宇通ZK6128HGE大型單層巴士後，新時代二零一七年在訂購新車時候，跟隨姊妹公司澳巴步伐向宇通購入二十五架天然氣大巴，不過型號有別於澳巴早年引進的ZK6128HNGE，新時代購入的型號為ZK6125HNG，這批新車亦成為了車隊中首批以及新時代唯一一批天然氣巴士。ZK6125HNG擁有與ZK6128HNGE相近設計的車身，但車頭及車尾的電子路線牌箱面較ZK6128HNGE為大，當中車尾路線牌更足以顯示目的地及其他相關訊息予其他道路使用者。而在其他機械配置方面，ZK6125HNG均配備了歐五排放標準的玉柴引擎以及Allison全自動波箱，符合歐盟五型排放標準，較ZK6128HNGE只符合歐四排放標準為高，而ZK6125HNG所使用的前軸部件跟ZK6128HNGE亦有所不同。至於載客量方面，則跟ZK6128HNGE一樣，合共提供二十六個座位五十七個企位。

首架新車於二零一七年七月初登記出牌，而隨後新車亦陸續抵達澳門，在新車交收期間碰巧颱風天鴿吹襲澳門，對各家巴士營運車隊造成不同程度損壞，為使公共巴士服務得以維持正常，當局及新時代旋即於同年九月六及七日替整批ZK6125HNG登記出牌，最終整批新車於九月十八日首航，獲安排行走來往媽閣及關閘的1號線及石排灣往返司打口的55號循環線。

隨著新時代於二零一八年八月一日拼入澳巴，整批二十五架宇通ZK6125HNG亦由同日起成為澳巴車隊一員，並陸陸續續被翻鬆澳巴企業色彩，而行駛路線則沒有任何改變。

After the introduction of 45 full-sized single decker from Yutong, Zhengzhou of China, New Era continued to acquire more full-sized single decker in 2017 and as it sister company T.C.M approach, CNG-powered buses become first choice and a purchased order of 25 Yutong ZK6125HNG was made. ZK6125HNG was not only the first but also the only CNG-powered bus in New Era fleet, it shared the same bodywork design applied on ZK6128HNGE with a larger size electronic display fitted at the front and rear. It should be mentioned that destination details and messages to other road users can be clearly shown at the rear display.

To go one step further, ZK6125HNG was powered by a Euro 5 Yuchai engine and Allison fully automatic transmission, in contrast to only Euro 4 Yuchai engine fitted on ZK6128HNGE. Different front-axle model was fitted on ZK6125HNG when compared to the ZK6128HNGE. The carrying capacity of Yutong ZK6125HNG was same as ZK6128HNGE, total 83 passengers can be carried with 26 seatings offered.

The first Yutong ZK6125HNG was registered on 5 Jul., 2017 and during the delivery of the remaining 24 units, Macau was hit by the super typhoon Hato and serious fleet damaged was resulted, to recover the public bus service, New Era together with the D.S.A.T of Macau registered all these 24 ZK6125HNGs between 6 and 7 Sep., 2017 and finally they entered service on route 1 and 55 on 18 Sep., 2017.

At present, all ZK6125HNG was belonged to T.C.M after New Era merged with the former on 1 Aug., 2018 and repainted into T.C.M livery with routes they served remain unchanged.
