Huang Hai

編號 Class:W

A new page of Macau public buses made by Transmac in 2005 when it took a delivery of 5 Kinglong single decker from Xiamen, China. When Transmac introduced more full-sized single decker, Higer substituted Kinglong, also under Kinglong Group but from Suzhou, and took the place of Mitsubishi Rosa. In order to gain business from Transmac, a Huang Hai DD6109S01 was sent for trial from Dangdong, a city adjacent with North Korea.

Same mechanic specification as Higer was adopted on this demonstrator, Cummins engine with Voith transmission. The Huang Hai is air-conditioned and this powered by a Denso air-con unit. Transmac classed it as W01 and deployed on 34 operated between Barra (later terminus changed to Rua Marginal Do Canal Das Hortas) and Taipa. This trial was considered as unsuccessful as no more Huang Hai was ordered and though it can comply with Euro 3 emission standard, this demonstrator was off from service before the implemented of new bus operation mode in Aug., 2011.
