日野 Hino

打從一九八八年澳巴專營權開始不久之後,便引入日本日產及日產柴油的巴士,成為車隊主力,到了一九九四年,豐田便成為澳巴小型巴士中另一勢力。至於大型巴士,新車仍然是屬意日本廠家,這跟新福利開始在歐洲尋求新車來源,形成一個強烈對比,而成功獲得澳巴歡心的廠家,不是日產柴油,而是日野。一九九六年,澳巴先向日野購入六架RK1MMKA底盤,採用原廠引擎及手動波箱,跟當時車隊入邊一眾大型單層巴士一樣,由香港聯誠設計及裝配車身。這批日野是空調巴士,而空調系統亦一如以往採用獨立引擎推動,當天氣寒冷時車長關上空調,乘客可以打開車窗確保空氣流通。六架日野新巴士投入服務後進一步壯大10號線陣容。

就在這六架日野加入澳巴不久,澳門街出現了首款全日本製造的大型單層巴士,這批新車車主亦是澳巴,而且同由日野製造。澳巴這次購入十架HT2MLCL大型單層巴士,這批巴士最富特色是於日本建造完成才付運澳門,其原廠Blue Ribbon車身充滿百分百日本味道,機械配搭方面同樣採用日野出產的引擎及手動波箱。空調系統跟早前六架新車不同,由主引擎驅動,而寬闊的中門是四頁式,走在澳門街上形象突出。這十架HT2MLCL一直是10號線主力,而當這批日野陸續於一九九六尾至九七年初投入服務後,亦標誌澳巴完成更新車隊色彩工作。

自從這十六架日野巴士加入之後,除了替澳巴疏導主幹線10的龐大客流量外,亦成功替日野打進澳巴車隊,在往後時間澳巴購入新車時,訂單亦落入日野手上,這情況直到二零零五年來自中國的五洲龍加入澳巴為止。這批澳巴車隊中的日野巴士先頭部隊,最後因未能符合二零一一年八月一日起實施的新營運模式中車齡及排放要求,而全數於二零一一年七月底宣告退役。

After restructured into TCM in 1988, Nissan Civillian and Nissan Diesel CB12 played a significant role in the fleet until 1994, when first Toyota Coaster minibus delivered. Unliked Transmac choosing buses from European manufacturers, TCM in favour of Japanese product and 6 RK1MMKA chassis from Hino were ordered in 1996. The bodywork of this batch Hino RK1MMKA was designed and assembled by Luen Shing in Hong Kong, a major bodybuilder for TCM full-sized single decker. Instead of the main engine and manual transmission from Hino, an auxiliary engine were placed underfloor to power the air conditioning unit. Passengers can open the window to ensure good ventilation when the air conditioning unit switched off during winter. After their commissioned, they were assigned to serve the trunk route 10 running between Barra and Portas do Cerco.

In late 1996, another batch of Hino full-sized single decker joined TCM fleet. The model of this batch was HT2MLCL and bodied by Hino in Japan with their Blue Ribbon bodywork. All HT2MLCL also powered by a Hino engine with Hino manual transmission, the air conditioning unit is driven by the main engine. The Japanese style bodyworks featured with a 4-leaf designed wide centre exit made them outstanding and unique among the public buses in Macau. Upon their arrival, they become the backbone of route 10 and indicated that the completion of new livery scheme applied on all buses in TCM.

The Hino left a satisfactory performance on the high demand route 10 and also helping Hino gained more orders from TCM until the rise of Wuzhoulong in 2005. All these 16 Hino full-sized single deckers were retired in the end of Jul., 2011 due to they were already 14- 15 years old and cannot meet the emission standard under the new mode of bus service introduced on 1, Aug., 2011.
