富豪B7R Volvo B7R

愉景灣的陸上交通，始於一支日本化的車隊，直到一九九五年兩架配亞洲車身的平治O405巴士投入服務，情況才出現改變，車隊除了小型巴士，漸漸由歐製車廠所主導，然後再進一步演變成整支車隊差不多由德國猛獅所壟斷。
二零一二年，愉景灣車隊再度出現新臉孔，而且是一個新鮮組合，兩架配本地亞洲Aero車身的B7R客車於四月底加入愉景灣，行走往返機場的DB02R路線。兩架富豪B7R之所以出現於愉景灣車隊中，全因原來行走DB02R，於二零零二年投入服務配荷蘭Berkhof車身的猛獅18.310因受車齡漸高，以及機械可靠性性低，愉景灣決定購買新車取而代之。
經過相關招標程序，富豪成功奪得相關新車訂單，提供兩條富豪B7R底盤，並一如以往供港的B7R底盤一樣，以「縮水」陣形式運抵本港，交由亞洲車身工程將底盤長度接駁成所需長度，以及裝配車身。在相關延伸底盤長度組件，便是車底大型行李架所在，這亦是行走 DB02R必備的設施。
兩架B7R運抵愉景灣後，被編成DBAY180及DBAY181，亦即原先猛獅客車的編號，由於車身上欠缺了其他車輛上的Dbay商標，一般人只能憑其紫白色標準Dbay色彩及車隊編號，識別這兩架富豪B7R是愉景灣車隊成員來。
隨著首兩架富豪B7R表現令人滿意，愉景灣交通服務有限公司先後在二零一三年至一五年間，再增購三架同樣配用亞洲Aero車身B7R，不同的是三架新車都是鬆上高爾夫球會的色彩，接替原先的猛獅客車，穿梭往返愉景灣碼頭及高爾夫球會之間。
When DBTSL established, the bus fleet was based on Japanese product until 1995, a pair of Mercedes Benz O405 full-sized single decker arrived, people in Discovery Bay can experience the European buses. After the "invasion" of Mercedes Benz, instead of the minibus, other single deckers were gradually replaced with other buses from Dennis in UK and MAN from Germany. At present, the fleet of DBTSL mainly composed of MAN product with a wide variety of model were purchased.
As a replacement for those MAN 18.310 with Berkhof bodyworks acquired in 2002, DBTSL decided to take delivery of a pair of Volvo B7R coach. Both B7R chassis were arrived in "buggy" mode in order to reduce the transportation cost. The chassis were then lengthened to desired length by assembling parts between the front and rear axle. The "Space frame" was then resulted and a spacious luggage bay can be provided underfloor, a very important point for the service DB02R. Bodywork was supplied by local builder Asia Auto and Aero type was chosen. After delivery to DBTSL and licensed in Apr., 2012, they were given the fleet number, DBAY180 and 181, previous used on the MAN being replaced.
This pair of Volvo B7R can be only known is the member of DBTSL by the standard "Dbay" corporate livery and fleet number as no any Dbay name or logo applied on it as other members did.
When DBTSL acquired new buses for substituted the MAN coach serving Discovery Bay Golf Club, as the satisfactory performance of this pair of B7R, Volvo successfully gained the order again and supplied 3 Volvo B7R with Asia Auto Aero bodywork between 2013 and 2015.
